Porter

"We've worked with Kate for all of our training with Porter. He started in her puppy class, then we attended a group training class and have since brushed up on our skills with some private training too! Kate's directions are easy to follow and she certainly can connect with dogs and have them follow her commands. She's friendly as well so it makes her a pleasure to work with! She left us with notes so that we could do our "homework" and keep practicing in between classes. We are amazed at how quickly he picks up new techniques she teaches us. Both the puppy and group classes were excellent for getting Porter comfortable with other dogs and basic commands. It got us off to a great start with him! I wouldn't get a puppy again without taking these classes. We look forward to further sessions with Kate so that we can continue to enjoy having our dog as much as we do."

When we re-homed Kate, our lovely golden retriever, Kate Hocking was the first person we talked too. Kate helped us in settling Kate in. Later on she did the same for Romeo, a golden retriever too. 
We love working with Kate as Kate has a very personal approach with our golden retrievers. Both Kate and Romeo adore her! At the moment Kate is helping Romeo to get confidence again to go in the car. Kate’s approach with our golden retrievers is very personal, she takes the time to help and support. Kate knows how to communicate effectively with the dogs. She gets the best out of us and the dogs.

I have known Kate for many years. We met when I needed help with my two standard schnauzers in Taupo. We joined Kate's group classes and had so much fun training our boys. More recently my current shitzu x, Jasper, developed separation anxiety and I felt trapped in my home, not able to leave.. Kate helped us out and now I can leave the house knowing Jasper will not be distressed while I am away.
